En mai 2022, ASMALLWORLD avait pris 10 % de participation dans Global Hotel Alliance (GHA en chiffres : 40 marques hôtelières,  800 hôtels dans le programme de fidélité GHA DISCOVERY, 21 millions de clients, 2 milliards de dollars de revenus annuels).

De ce rapprochement capitalistique est né, dans l’esprit des dirigeants des deux entreprises, Jan Luescher, PDG d’ASMALLWORLD et Christopher Hartley, CEO GHA, l’envie de créer une marque « soft » permettant aux hôtels indépendants de bénéficier de  la plateforme de fidélité DISCOVERY jusqu’alors réservée principalement aux marques.
